Whats going on in this friendly pub then?

TUESDAY QUIZ night, ALL WELCOME.

Quiz Night every Tuesday night, 7 rounds starting at 8PM, £1.00 entry per person, 1st prize being all the entrance fees, then theirs a £100 prize for the combined points system in operation over a 14 to 16 week period. You have to be in it to win it.

A program of entertainment is shown throughout the pub for a 3 month period, updates are shown on our ‘Facebook Page’..

Charity Fundraising

We hold a weekly meat raffle in aid of the Severn Hospice. Tickets for £1.00 can be bought throughout the week, when the ticket is drawn on a Friday night approx 7.30pm. All proceeds going to Severn Hospice.

Food Menu at the Malt Shovel

We serve food Tuesday to Friday 12.00 till 2.00pm. You will find our menu down the page. Our food is good value, ingredients sourced locally and our chips are peeled each morning and hand cut. During busy periods there may be a slight wait. It is currently advisable to book either personally or by phone on 01952 242963

You can literally order the dish exactly how you want it because it's made to order. Lunchtimes only, and not a Monday, which is a shame, but that's why it's consistent.
